FIFA Fan festival Atlanta Credentialing Terms and Conditions

 

Purpose and scope

The following Accreditation T&C are designed to ensure a correct and efficient functioning of the

Accreditation process relating to the Atlanta FIFA Fan Festival™ for the 2026 FIFA World Cup ™. All Accreditations are subject to these Accreditation T&C and shall apply in addition to any other applicable terms and conditions to which you may be subject to.

Definitions

  • Host City (HC) means the city where the Competition takes place.
  • FIFA means Fédération Internationale de Football Association.
  • Local FIFA Subsidiary means The Local FIFA Subsidiaries, established by FIFA in the Host Countries

  • Event means Atlanta FIFA Fan Festival for the FIFA World Cup 2026
  • Competition means FIFA World Cup 2026
  • Site means any area for the FIFA Fan Festival which requires an accreditation pass to gain access
  • Zone means a predefined space and/or area within a Site, where access is limited only to those holding the applicable accreditation pass

Applicants must:

  • Confirm they have read, understood, and accepted the media rights holder’s terms and conditions.
  • Agree to comply with all security, health, and safety regulations.
  • Consent to processing of personal data for security and operational purposes.
  • Device collected in person with valid ID and signed acknowledgment of receipt and compliance (unless bulk pick-up).

usage of accreditation and revocation:

  • Accreditation defines rights of access to specific zones and valid dates, based on the function assigned.
  • All accreditations are personal and non-transferable.
  • Accreditation is personal and may not be sold, shared, or displayed online.
  • Must be worn visibly and always accompanied by a valid ID.
  • Accredited persons must obey all security staff, police, and fire-marshal instructions.
  • Entry may be denied to anyone who exhibits the following behaviors:
    • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    • Behaving violently, abusively, or contrary to public order.
    • Display or sale of political, religious, or commercial materials is prohibited unless authorized in writing.
  • Accreditation remains property of the HC and may be revoked at any time for fraudulent use or alteration of the device. This will result in immediate removal, denial of entry, and confiscation of accreditation. Future applications may be permanently barred from FIFA and LFS competitions and/or events.

safety and security

  • Entry requires consent to ID checks, bag searches, and confiscation of prohibited items, if applicable.
  • Accredited persons must not:
    • Enter unauthorized zones or obstruct views.
    • Throw objects or start fires.
    • Damage property, climb structures, or block emergency routes.
    • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or disorderly conduct.

image release

  • Attendance constitutes consent for perpetual, worldwide use of one’s name, image, likeness, and voice for broadcast or promotional purposes without compensation.
  • Use may be by FIFA, the Local Subsidiary or authorized media partners.
  • Rights granted in accordance with applicable state, and federal publicity and privacy laws.

recording and media provisions

  • Recording or transmitting sound or images at event sites is prohibited except for private, non commercial use or when authorized.
  • Accredited media representatives may capture still photography for editorial news coverage only, not for commercial association.
  • Digital images must not emulate video (e.g., GIFs) and may not include third-party branding.
  • All transmissions must be securely encrypted to prevent unauthorized use.
  • Non-rights-holding broadcasters may film only with express written authorization from FIFA.
  • FIFA trademarks and marks may be used solely per official brand guidelines.

Intellectual property

  • Any unauthorized recording or transmission automatically becomes the property of FIFA.
  • Accredited Parties must, upon request, execute documents transferring all rights to FIFA.
  • FIFA marks are protected under the U.S. Lanham Act and other applicable laws.

indemnification

Accreditation holder must indemnify and hold harmless FIFA, and their agents from losses, damages, or claims arising from breach or misuse, except to the extent caused by FIFA’s gross negligence.

Data protection and privacy

  • Personal Data will be collected to verify identity and manage site access.
  • Processed in compliance with applicable U.S. privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, Virginia CDPA, New York Privacy Act) and FIFA data-protection policy.
  • Data may be shared with authorized public authorities for security purposes.
  • Data retained only as long as necessary and stored securely.

force majeure

  • The HC and FIFA has the ability to alter event locations, schedules, or access due to force majeure, weather, security threats, or government orders.
  • All accreditation inquiries must be submitted in writing to the official accreditation email address or postal address provided by the Host Committee
